Engagement Session

We are really excited to share our photos from Ambrosia and Eric’s Engagement Session. They had contacted us on our most requested date: June 9th, 2007. Even though we will be in Cancun, Mexico that day, we are having the wonderful Amber Wright help us out in covering there date. We’ll be shooting the Engagement Session, Temple Session, and a Day After Session. We are so happy for them!

We shot the engagement session in downtown Phoenix and we walked around until we found the Phoenix Science Center and Heritage Park. We had never walked around Heritage Square, but we did finally find Pizzeria Bianco, which we heard is completely amazing.

Thanks Ambrosia and Eric for the great time on this session. Congrats!

We were so excited to finally shoot Malia and Brad’s Engagement Session! Malia has second shot with us a couple of years back and we were excited to hear that she is getting married!!! She actually had to change her wedding date around to allow us to be at her wedding! Thanks!

For the engagement session, we decided to finally shoot at some abandoned homes in Gilbert. We had never stopped and to look what they looked like inside, but when we walked in, we were so excited! There were cool painted walls, holes in the roof, and pure radness which we love! We just had the best time.

We were contacted awhile ago by a local modeling agency called S.I.M. Agency. About a year or two ago, I had met another model that was with this same agency. She wanted new comp cards, but I passed on it, thinking it wasn’t for me. We also did a wedding and her little sister was with the same modeling agency. We were just so excited this agency called us and wanted to see what we could do.

So Eden called us up and wanted to work with us. As you can see she is gorgeous! All of these photos are straight out of the camera with no post processing. She really was great and super professional. She will enjoy much continued success! Thanks Eden for allowing us this session.

We were also so excited to be contacted by a Kaitlyn! She had seen our work from the Barkers who teach at Mesa High School. Kaitlyn is actually Mrs. Barkers best ever student aide. We just had a blast with Kaitlyn. She honestly could model and is so super nice. Thanks Kaitlyn!

The Day that we drove back to Phoenix from Las Vegas, we had Natalie’s Bridal Session. We were so excited to be able to start shooting after so much inspiration. She was looking amazing and we absolutely loved her dress and purlple shoes! Thanks Natalie for the session. She’ll be getting married this Saturday, April 14th, 2007.

On the way to Las Vegas, Angie and I were in a pretty big hurry to just get there. We went to bed at 2am and then had woke up at 6am to get Maddux to my sister, Michelle’s home for her to watch him until we came home. But we did see this abandoned place so we decided to stop and shoot there on the way home. This time, we had Amelia Lyon with us. The Girls were sleeping, so I wasn’t sure if they were up to it. They ended up ready and jumped out of the car with thier cameras. I could of stayed for hours and shot. I was in the perfect mood.

Wedding
Copperwynd Resort and Spa

We had the bestest of times at this wedding. We spent a full day with them and shot so many photos, it was hard to choose what belongs on the blog.

Amanda and Chris had an amazing wedding in every detail. Not only did they invite everyone that influenced their lives, but they made this wedding special to all of them. I have never seen a wedding couple more loving to their friends and family. I honestly wished I wasn’t “the friend with the fancy camera.” I really wished I could of met them in my personal life.

They got married at a beautiful location (Copperwynd Resort and Spa) and pretty much had the state of Indiana and California at their wedding. At least the best of those states. Amanda being from Indiana and Chris from Northern California. As you saw in the last post, there were chances of rain on their wedding day as we did get flushed out of the wedding rehearsal. They were also the couple that had the largest wedding party with 27 people. This included a bride and groom, 16 groomsmen, 7 bridesmaids, and even 3 bridesmen. Trust us, it was a never ending blast with this wedding party. It was one of the few times I never wanted the reception to end.

We thank everyone for being so awesome to us at the wedding. We honestly loved you all. Thanks Amanda and Chris!!! Love ya guys!!!
