Engagement Session
Surprise, AZ
I was so excited to be able to go out and shoot the engagement session for Jovon and John. We used to live in Surprise 3 years ago, and it was nice to go back and visit. It has changed a ton! But Jovon and John were able to show me some great locations and I will for sure be going back. There were endless possibilities at these places. I was hoping the sun would stay up longer. But it was a perfect day and not hot at all!
Thanks guys for being so patient with me! I am so amazed at how easy it was to shoot with you two! Can’t wait for the wedding in November!
p.s. We’ll for sure be playing darts, watching NFL + UFC, and hanging out soon!
I took this last photo because I thought it was pretty meaningful to me. Nobody can see or tell, but Jovon and John are both deaf. Which means, it should be really hard to communicate. But we were able to communicate the new technology way. Texting and emailing really has helped us throughout the whole process of getting to know each other. I am so excited for their wedding!!!

Engagement Session
Visalia, CA (and surrounding areas)
We had our last session of the weekend in Visalia, CA with Megan and Gregory. It was so nice to get out of the areas we’ve shot in before and play up in Central California. We actually went 3 hrs. north of Los Angeles and into the cattle and farmland. It was a great little trip. We were so lucky to be able to shoot on a real dairy and in some smaller towns. Megan + Gregory were perfect! So cute together and totally friendly.

We had a busy “Sunny California” weekend. We had scheduled a Wedding, two Trash the Dresses, an engagement session, and our first bridal boudoir! More Pics Coming!

Tempe Town Lake
On our Labor Day, we had a great time with Wendy and Travis! We had a great time shoting their engagement session, even though we wished we had more time with them! The sun went down rather quickly, but we were happy with the results!

Engagement Session
Payson, AZ
It’s been really crazy weather in AZ these last couple of weeks! It’s one of the better times I have seen the monsoons. But it’s still too hot to really do anything but swim.
So for Megan and Mike’s Engagement Session, I decided to get out of town and go north! Where the skies are blue, trees are green, and it’s not so hot! And we had a blast!!! We shot at a cool location just north of Payson where the Verde River is running. It was perfect light!

Engagement Session
Moon Palace - Cancun, Mexico
Before the wedding of Alison and Craig, we decided we needed to get a little brushed up on shooting in Cancun. We were pretty amazed at how bright it was in Cancun. The sun is pretty bright and crazy! The beaches had the whitest sand we had ever seen. So it made a cool challenge while shooting there. We just loved it!
Some of these photos are very similar to there wedding day! We just loved shooting there and hope we get the chance to shoot there again. Cancun was like a photographers paradise!

Family/Engagement Session
Verrado
Hopefully you guys all remember one of our most beautiful brides and coolest grooms: Val + Seth. We weren’t able to fit in a good time for their engagement session before their wedding on May 5th, 2007. So we shot a complete family session with them at an new amazing location called Verrado. We absolutely had a blast with Cole their little guy. Val brought a little ball and we played with it so much that it popped halfway through the session which didn’t bother him too much. It’s always a blast with little ones running around!!!

Engagement Session
Phoenix Science Center, Heritage Square, + Downtown Phoenix
We are really excited to share our photos from Ambrosia and Eric’s Engagement Session. They had contacted us on our most requested date: June 9th, 2007. Even though we will be in Cancun, Mexico that day, we are having the wonderful Amber Wright help us out in covering there date. We’ll be shooting the Engagement Session, Temple Session, and a Day After Session. We are so happy for them!
We shot the engagement session in downtown Phoenix and we walked around until we found the Phoenix Science Center and Heritage Park. We had never walked around Heritage Square, but we did finally find Pizzeria Bianco, which we heard is completely amazing.

Engagement Session
Abandoned House in Gilbert, AZ
We were so excited to finally shoot Malia and Brad’s Engagement Session! Malia has second shot with us a couple of years back and we were excited to hear that she is getting married!!! She actually had to change her wedding date around to allow us to be at her wedding! Thanks!
For the engagement session, we decided to finally shoot at some abandoned homes in Gilbert. We had never stopped and to look what they looked like inside, but when we walked in, we were so excited! There were cool painted walls, holes in the roof, and pure radness which we love! We just had the best time.

Engagement Session
Sahuaro Ranch Park (Glendale, AZ)
We had a great time with Karen and Scott. I shot most of the engagement session by myself (which Angie and I have decided will be best) But I also invited Angie and Maddux to come and play with me at this new park we found: Sahuaro Ranch Park. It was actually a recommendation from Karen. Even Scott was impressed! Scott is from North Carolina and came in to help with the preparations of their wedding in April. These two were so great!!! Sometimes I feel weird when asking couples to pose a “certain” way, but they made me feel so comfortable. Thanks guys for the special time with you!!!
