We had great session with Wendy and Travis! We are excited for their wedding in a couple of weeks on October 19th.
We actually shot her sister Amber’s wedding in the beginning of 2006. Their photos are actually featured on our website!

Trash the Dress
Fullerton, CA
We had one of our Trash the Dress sessions fall through, but we were lucky enough to have Tyler satisfy our urge to shoot. We decided to shoot early morning before Malia and Frankie’s Wedding. It was so much fun! We even were able to finally play around with external,off-camera flash. It was so much fun!

Wedding
Marvimon House and Chinatown - LA, CA
We were so lucky to of been a part of Malia and Frankie’s Wedding. We had a really great and amazing friend, Carrie Cook from Urban Baby, allow us to help her for the beginning of the wedding day and then we took over from the ceremony on. Thanks Carrie!!! It was just great to be able to shoot alongside and around Carrie.
We began the day with Matt at the Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and Angie at the Marvimon House. Frankie and his guys were great! Malia was so much fun while she got ready!
After they got ready, Carrie took us to take photos of them before the Ceremony in Chinatown! It was an honest blast. We found some amazing places, and even an alleyway with huge undies hanging! One of the best alleyways I have ever seen!!!
The ceremony was at an amazing artsy home. It was so awesome and special! We then partied all night with the amazing group!

Wedding
Shade Hotel + Veranda’s in Manhatten Beach, CA
A couple of weeks ago I was able to shoot a wedding with the fabulous Natalie Moser. I had recently met Natalie, and her husband Matt, at a get together. They were so cool! So I was excited!
The getting ready was at a cool little boutique hotel called Shade. Then the wedding ceremony and reception was at Veranda’s in Manhatten Beach, CA. It was a great time and I got to know some really great people.

Wedding
Church of the Lighted Window + La Canada Flintridge Country Club, La Canada, CA
We were out and about two weeks ago in Southern California. It seemed so exciting to be there to meet up with Karina and Jeff and shoot their wedding!
The wedding was so great! We couldn’t shoot much in the Church, since there were restrictions during the ceremony, but spending time with Karina and Jeff was awesome! Karina looked amazing and was so perfect to shoot. Jeff was by far one of the friendliest grooms we have ever had. He made our day by just being so calm and was honestly a good person. We really felt like family.

Wedding
Wilshire Grand Hotel
I was recently in California again! We wished that we could of booked the most coveted wedding day: 7/07/07. But, it’s ok!
So, I was glad and honored to be asked to assist and shoot with the fabulous Amelia Lyon! It was a crazy filled day and went by rather quickly! Plus, the couple was awesome and really beautiful!

Wedding
Holy Family Catholic Church - Jerome, AZ, Los Abrigados Resort, and Tlaquepaque
Well, we are coming to an end of all of our weddings in AZ before a couple of weddings in California over the summer. We were able to end our busy June with a wedding in Jerome and Sedona. We are so lucky to have shot this wedding. We honestly loved spending time with Almira and Curt and their families and friends.

They started out the wedding preparations at Los Abrigados in Sedona where everyone got ready.

Then they bussed everyone up to the Catholic Church in Jerome in a real “Yellow School Bus” and a cool limo bus! It was a great trip! The wedding church was one of the coolest and oldest churches we had ever seen. It’s nestled on the mountain little mining town of Jerome, which is an amazing traveling destination. This was also one of the happiest and funny weddings I have ever seen preformed at a Catholic Church. The Father who married them was so great to keep the happiness showing on the bride and grooms faces. We could see him cracking jokes secretly to Almira and Curt. It was awesome! He also made them face the crowd as his back was turned while they said their vows so everyone could see.
Curt was kinda nervous before Almira got to the church, but he was so happy and excited to see her come down the aisle!!!
Then we headed to a secret location for the bridal party shots. This is the same location that we shot the Mejia Family and we loved it!!! Trust us, it’s in their back yard! ;o)
We then came back to Los Abrigados Resort to have a great dinner and celebrate the reception.
We then came back and and snuck away to shoot an amazing session of Almira and Curt at Tlaquepaque. It was a dream to shoot! LOVED IT!!!
And then their First Dance!!!
We had a blast and can’t thank Almira and Curt for being one of our best and nicest couples ever!

Day After Session
Downtown Gilbert, AZ
So we had a pretty busy week! We ended it with coming back from Sedona and heading back to shoot a “Day After Session” with Stacy and Lucas. I sure do love the casual and relaxed sessions. There is just so much to love from a photographers viewpoint with a “Day After Shoot.” It’s like the last day for everything wedding, and such a blast to get some awesome photos.
Stacy and Lucas were so awesome to include their little dogs in the shoot! I am a huge “dog lover” and was excited for the challenge. It was a great time had by all. And Downtown Gilbert is so empty which is cool.
June 21st, 2007
Wedding
Stonebridge Manor - Mesa, AZ
So we left Utah the next early morning after Katie and Russell’s Wedding and we ran right to Stacy and Lucas’s Wedding. It was a great day! There was a ton of time to get great shots and it was a pretty calm day. Well, Stacy was really calm and Lucas was the nervous one. ;o)
The location was really cool. We had never shot an actual wedding ceremony there, but we shot receptions there before.
We would also like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Tammie of Largo Photography for the help and assistance with this wedding. (Many of the amazing shots were from her!)
